Michael Bissonnette

Michael Bissonnette has founded and built four multi-million dollar corporations including 2 global enterprises – the last two he took public on the NASDAQ. Each of his start-ups required investor financing to get off the ground, and additional funds to accelerate growth.

Having researched funding through conventional channels, including banks, angels, and venture capitalists, Michael quickly recognized the long odds of getting funding. He turned to a little-known (and quite revolutionary) fundraising approach that allowed him to market his offerings direct to individual investors. All totaled Michael has raised over $50 million through 21 successful rounds of funding. Much of it came in the last five years, in some of the toughest financial times ever – and he did it without banks or venture capital.

Michael Bissonnette teaches entrepreneurs how investor-direct funding can raise money faster and cheaper than angels, VCs, or banks. He teaches a process using a little-known set of state and federal mandates, which allows entrepreneurs to advertise and market their offering directly to the public. These new regulations are making a major difference in the way companies can raise money.
